The Consortium of Research Libraries (CURL) aims to increase the ability of research libraries to share resources for the benefit of the local, national and international research community. One of their tasks is to help building the "Distributed and Hybrid Research Library of the future".

The AHDS is hosting various preservation documents on behalf of the Consortium of Research Libraries (CURL). The documents have been written by a variety of CURL members.
