Travel information for visitors to the University of Glasgow

The Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII) is located in George Service House, D7 on the Glasgow University campus map (PDF).

AHDS Performing Arts offices are situated in the Gilmorehill Centre for Theatre, Film and Television Studies (E9 on the Glasgow University campus map (PDF)). The Centre is located within a Norman Gothic church built in 1877. The building, designed by the architect James Sellars, once served as an examination hall for the University. Extensive refurbishment was completed in 1997 and cost in the region of £5 million, involving investment from a variety of sources including £900,000 from the Scottish Arts Council National Lottery Fund and donations from organisations and individuals. As well as staff offices and teaching space, the building houses a flexible theatre seating up to 230, a 140 seat cinema and a rehearsal studio, and has earned a fine reputation as a professional venue. See the GilmorehillG12 web pages for more details.
