Introduction to user support offered by AHDS History
AHDS History is dedicated to supporting the creation of digital historical resources and the use of these resources for secondary analysis in research and teaching. AHDS History provides to:
Data Users
- a dedicated help desk and web site
- support for users in finding data
- assistance with using data and documentation
- JISCmail discussion lists for AHDS History (AHDS-HISTORY@jiscmail.ac.uk) to raise debate on issues arising in the use of historical data, news bulletins and articles
- online guides and resources on using data
- training and outreach events
Use the AHDS History help desk for help with registration, downloading or ordering data, and problems in opening data or documentation files.
Data Creators
Use the AHDS History help desk for specific questions relating to the creation, management, sustainability and preservation of historical digital resources.
