Historic Parishes of England and Wales
The original ESRC funded project created an electronic map of the boundaries of all the pre-1850 parishes, townships and other local administrative districts of England and Wales, with an accompanying gazeteer recording the archival provenance of all the boundaries. AHDS History converted the original deposit of 115 Adobe Illustrator v6 files into a dissemination version of 3 CD ROMs in Adobe Acrobat PDF™ format. It also involved converting the original text of the gazeteer into a MS Excel version included in the first of the CD ROMs.
