Terms of Reference

The Advisory Committee meets twice yearly to:

Advise on policy relating to:

  • the acquisition of data;
  • the dissemination of information about data and about the AHDS History standards and guidelines for data and documentation;
  • the production of teaching data collections;
  • the provision of appropriate services;
  • comment on draft proposals for funding and to provide advice on sources of funding;
  • comment on papers, guidelines and other documents produced by the AHDS History
  • Assist in promoting the AHDS History among the wider historical community;
  • Provide informal advice when appropriate.
