AHDS Literature, Languages and Linguistics welcomes copies of digital resources for preservation and dissemination to the research and teaching community. We collect resources in the subject areas of literature, modern and ancient languages and linguistics. Resources are accepted in a variety of formats, including ASCII files, database files, spreadsheet files, image files and SGML or XML marked-up texts, and on a variety of media including CD-ROMs and disks. When a data collection is deposited with the AHDS Literature, Languages and Linguistics we validate it, make archival copies to ensure its long-term preservation, and create a full catalogue record describing it which is included in the [AHDS]
and [Oxford Text Archive]
catalogues. AHDS Literature, Languages and Linguistics also manages the distribution of the data collection to users in the research and teaching community, and regulates access in accordance with the terms and conditions chosen by the depositor.
