-- Terms of Reference --The Advisory Committee meets twice yearly to: Advise on policy relating to: *
the acquisition of data;
*
the dissemination of information about data and about the AHDS History standards and guidelines for data and documentation;
*
the production of teaching data collections;
*
the provision of appropriate services;
*
comment on draft proposals for funding and to provide advice on sources of funding;
*
comment on papers, guidelines and other documents produced by the AHDS History
*
Assist in promoting the AHDS History among the wider historical community;
*
Provide informal advice when appropriate.
