*AHRC ICT Methods Network.* The AHRC ICT Methods Network provides a national forum for the exchange and dissemination of expertise in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for arts and humanities research.

It organizes activities and publications, working in collaboration with centres of excellence in arts and humanities computing around the UK. It is is a multi-disciplinary partnership of four institutions, with a Network Administration Centre based at King's College, London.

*Intute: Arts and Humanities* is a free online service providing access to the most useful web resources for research and education, selected and evaluated by a network of subject specialists.

Intute offers a browsable database of resource reviews, email alerting, and online tutorials. Previously known as Humbul and Artifact, it is led by Oxford University in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University.

*JISC: the Joint Information Systems Committee.* The JISC supports further and higher education by providing strategic guidance, advice and opportunities to use ICT to support teaching, learning, research and administration. JISC is funded by all the UK post-16 and higher education funding councils.

*The Higher Education Academy* works with institutions, discipline groups and individuals to provide the best possible learning experiences for all students, and an authoritative and independent voice on relevant policies. 'e-Science' is a national agenda to develop advanced technologies for research collaboration and resource sharing across the Internet. The joint AHRC-EPSRC-JISC e-Science Initiative, including the JISC *Arts and Humanities e-Science Support Centre (AHESSC)*, will exploit the great potential of these technologies for arts and humanities researchers.

*DRHA: Digital Resources for the Humanities and Arts.* The annual DRHA conferences provide a key forum for all those involved in or affected by the digitization of our common cultural heritage. The Conference Committee represents the range of humanities and arts disciplines and includes funding bodies and service providers alongside academic institutions.

*The British Academy* supports the use of ICT in post-doctoral research in the arts and humanities by providing funding for a range of ICT-based projects, and ensuring that they meet the standards and protocols set down by the AHDS. It has recently produced a major review of e-resources for research in the humanities and social sciences.

*ESDS: The Economic and Social Data Service* is a national data service providing access and support for an extensive range of key economic and social data, both quantitative and qualitative, spanning many disciplines and themes. ESDS provides an integrated service offering enhanced support for the secondary use of data across the research, learning and teaching communities.

*AHRC ICT in Arts and Humanities Research Programme.* An AHRC strategic programme that leads the development of the use of ICT in research across all the AHRC’s subject communities. It funds a number of activities and schemes, and will conduct a Fundamental Strategic Review of the AHRC’s ICT-based activities and related research community needs.
