The AHDS Projects and Method Database (extension) project continues and extends the work undertaken in the previous [AHDS Projects and Methods Database (prototype) project] . Its aim is to create a searchable online resource that records and links to a wide range of information essential for scholars who wish to fully engage with the potential of ICT in arts and humanities research. This resource will include information on:

* UK-based arts and humanities research projects using ICT
* digital resources created by such projects
* computational methods employed by such projects (gathered and organised in a controlled fashion according to a developed taxonomy of computational methods)
* software, tools and metadata standards employed by such projects
* publications, information papers and case studies that discuss different computational methods in detail
* available ICT-related training and education resources
* research assistants, experts and consultants and their technical skills

The project will run for one year (January 2005 - January 2006), and works in conjunction with the [AHRB ICT in Arts and Humanities Research Programme] (external link), the [AHRB ICT Methods Network] (external link), and the [Arts and Humanities ICT Awareness Programme] (external link).
