The database is a detailed record of all performances of the RSC and its predecessors in Stratford from 1879 to the present, including full cast lists and bibliographic data relating to contemporary reviews for productions up to 1990. Searching can be carried out for details of a play, a person such as an actor, director or designer, or performances that have taken place in a given theatre or year. The RSCPD is maintained, as is the RSC's official archive, by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
