 Introduction

Poll books are a primary source for the understanding of voting behaviour in the past. They generally contain the voting preference of individual voters along with their address. Different constituencies contain varying levels of information. AHDS History holds a small selection of digitised poll books which are listed below. AHDS History is particularly interested in expanding its collection of poll books and would be happy to hear from anyone who would like to make their poll books available.
